The location directly on the ski slope in car-free Rosswald is ideal for a family getaway. The chalet is also perfectly suited for a stay with children, as toys and books are already provided, so you don't need to bring anything except your personal essentials. Everything was also perfectly organized: booking, check-in, and the entire process were straightforward and seamless. Anne and Beat were always attentive, proactively checked in, and did everything to ensure we felt completely comfortable. Leaving was all the more difficult – we would have loved to stay longer and would love to come back again. ”

And for us adults, the dishwasher in the chalet was almost a real luxury 😊 The layout of the chalet was also very practical and comfortable: the ground floor and the top floor each have their own toilet/shower and felt like two private areas – ideal for two families. The outdoor area was another real highlight: the patio and balcony felt almost like an additional living space, perfect for eating, playing, and simply spending time together with this incredible view. The location is simply breathtaking: the peace and quiet and the stunning view of the mountain range are hard to beat. There's also a small shop nearby with everything you need, and the cable car staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our time, were able to truly relax, and would love to come back again. Highly recommended! ”

Hello and welcome! We are Beat, Anne, Arlo and Oskar – a nature-loving family from Bern and your hosts at Chalet Glishoru.
We love life in the mountains: Whether skiing, hiking over sunny alpine meadows or playing in the forest – for us, nature is a place of freedom, joy and togetherness. Rosswald is our retreat – and at the same time a place full of adventure.
With Chalet Glishoru we have fulfilled a dream: A place for peace, encounters and family time. We want to share this special place with you. Instead of hotel routine, you can expect genuine warmth, cozy evenings by the wood stove and plenty of space for relaxation and discoveries.

Whether by gondola or car – the way to Rosswald is an experience in itself. Here you find all information about arrival in summer and winter.
In winter, Rosswald is only accessible by gondola from Ried-Brig. The valley station is easily accessible by car or post bus from Brig.
In summer you have the choice: Either take the gondola or drive via a mountain road directly to the chalet.
